Contracts, Utah holiday, Parade Oh my busy day!!

So here in Utah we have a HUGE holiday today (its more of a Mormon holiday, but its a state holiday too). So I have been trying to focus on the joy of the holiday :)  However, I haven't ignored surrogacy completely. I worked on the contract this morning , putting MaMa D's name in and changing things to match our situation so that we can focus on going over the contract and not just changing names and terminology (like changing all the parts where it says "genetic parents" to Intended mother. and at times it looked funny, so I had to change some words to make it look good :) I have to pretend I'm REALLY a writer!
Then right as I got back home from my very eventful day of events, I sat at my computer and continued working on it and Mama D Texted me and said that her family was leaving tomorrow morning so she will be focusing on the adoption and the contract! Woo hoo!! I think its funny our minds both were thinking about it at the same time :) SWEET :)

I gather I'm probably gonna skype with her tomorrow or friday and get the details nailed out :) My divorce should be finalized friday too WOO HOOOOooooo!!! well I get to file a default friday .. and then wait for the judge to sign it :) but essentially ... divorce finalized friday :) Its a good thing to be rid of! It has blocked my surrogacy long enough!!

I thought I'd end with some good pics of the Parade :)

24th of July is the celebration of Pioneers coming to the Utah Valley and settling our state! Its BIG DEAL  We celebrate our heritage of Pioneers  Donna, Kyra and I (and my mom for about 3 blocks) rode a wagon pulled by our goat ShoShana . Doe-athy came too but she just ran next the waggon  then we camped at the Park at the end and did a little petting zoo for kids that was really fun!! Sucky part .. IT POURED RAIN half the time! Good part.. It made it cool down and was a lovely fast (but hard) rain!

Just working on the finishing touches... in the pouring rain LOL.. we walked behind our ward's float. THe tall one with the Goats leash is my oldest KK and the little one in front of the wagon is DD the brown goat is SHoshana Bean- the goat-  and the white goat is Doe-athy .. all of our animals are named after Wicked the musical characters or actors

KK was so HAPPY at the beginning of the parade route  Shoshana Bean the goat was so happy too!! she loved pulling the wagon!! Grandma D was even stoked in the beginning

KK was Nearly DONE!! Notice  the GNARLY rain downpour in the back ground LOL that had JUST passed over us LOL it was OK though cause it was A LONG walk and its good it wasn't HOT TOO!

Shoshana was done.. she didn't want to pull the wagon anymore!! LOL funny enough she LOVES pulling the waggon LOL  just not 3 miles!! Fortunately at this point we were ALMOST at the end! (like 2 blocks to go!)  She Just wanted to walk under my feat, KK kept having to drag her into the middle of the road! Poor little Doe-athy the goat just wanted me too LOL (there was a loud car in front of us that every time it would rev it scared her, and being a baby it was sad

I apparently just saw someone I know..  LOL or practicing a cheezy parade wave while walking a goat.. thats talent right??

Shoshana decided she'd snuggle with grandma under her umbrella during the rain storm!

Rain started again but instead of getting in the covered wagon (as we suggested to her when the rain began) DD wanted to scrunch under her umbrella.. whatever .. sure!! Your cute.. you can do what you want!! lol

Let the petting and POUNDS of leaves from the near by tree .. begin!! LOL you could almost see the savoring of this leaf on this goats face LOL

Our little petting Zoo at the park Pioneer style! .. they LOVED IT!
