Signed sealed deleivered

My IP's and I worked on our contract for the last time last night, went over small little details, since we are already in sync about most of our stuff it didn't take much. The PLAN was I needed to  print 3 copies of the contract (one for me them and the courts) but my printer went all cati-wompus this morning. In light of my crappy printer, I had to email it to the UPS store (which is ACROSS TOWN)  and go pick it up. When I got to the store they hadn't printed it yet, so i had to wait for it. In the mean time a friend of mine who's wife just had twins through IVF came in. We talked about the surrogacy some. They had to use the "big" stapler, it busted the other one, it was 28 pages.  Ha Ha ...

Then off to the Bank we went to get it notarized. After 3 sets of 28 pages that's alot of initials! The notary was very curious about the surrogacy.  She asked lots of questions, which is fine cause I love answering questions about it :) It was very sweet and she was very interested in knowing about the long term story. I told her about the blog and told her I'd keep her up to date :)

Last stop the post office.. I ran into 2 friends there... they were both very excited about the fact I was mailing the contract off. they knew how big that step was!

I am so stinking excited !
